In 1954 Master Stonemason, Alphonse Van den Kerkhof arrived from Belgium.

Alf continued to work on a wide variety of some of Western Canada’s finest architectural, landscape and restoration projects.

Son, Eric joined his father in the stone masonry trade in 1969 to begin serving in an extensive apprenticeship in all facets of architectural building stone.

Alphonse (1930 - 1986) would be proud to know Eric’s youngest son, Shaun, is continuing the tradition in stone. He now has over ten years of experience in the trade and looks forward to what the future holds.
